Jake Lockert is the President of Mayhem Athlete. He oversees the programming, business, marketing and media of the online programming, while strategizing ways to grow the brand for the future. He coaches and helps develop various Games and SemiFinal athletes each year, along with working directly with coaches and personnel on staff. Faith is the most important thing to him, and he is grateful to work for a company that leads with it.

Jake earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Exercise Science from Tennessee Tech University and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University. Jake first started as a member at CrossFit Mayhem in 2012. He quickly became engrossed in the process of competing and coaching in the new sport. Jake worked remote running Mayhem Athlete for a number of years during physical therapy school and transitioned to full-time at Mayhem in 2020 as the business and brand began to grow even more.

During his tenure, Mayhem Athlete has grown to over 16,000 athletes and 1,600 gyms. Mayhem is a place people can improve their fitness, be challenged in their lives, and find a community that feels like family.
